In a room filled with the memories of its absent inhabitants, recollections of events recur through the fusion of nineteenth century cinematographic technology, sabotaged household elements, sound elements, and photographic images. Each zoetrope-like device projects an animated gesture. Through the repetition of gestures and behavior patterns, this deceptively simple domestic scene describes the darker, sometimes violent and psychological aspects of domestic life from a woman's perspective. Recollections of events will recur in cherished picture frames, in a kitchen setting, or spinning incessantly on a phonograph like a broken record.
