Members’ Exhibition 2008

Opening Reception Saturday, February 9, 7 to 10 p.m.

Opening in the Underground Gallery CEPA will present its annual Members’ Exhibition. This year’s juror is Holly Hughes, Associate Curator, Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Hughes will be selecting and presenting a variety of awards including the prestigious Exhibition Awards. These awards will be presented to two artists, one emerging and one established, who show an elevated artistic maturity in their work and whose professionalism would aptly translate in a solo exhibition of their art. Each chosen artist will receive a solo show in the 2009/2010 exhibition season. The Members’ Exhibition will contain work from CEPA members, old and new, from across the United States and Canada. Each year the exhibition presents an interesting survey of contemporary trends in the photographic and electronic arts.
