Minor League Baseball is a series of photographs documenting small town Class A baseball teams. Through photographic images of baseball, Freeman's work conveys the strong aspects of dance, the stage setting and the lighting, the composition and organization on the field, the community and interaction among the fans, and the earnestness of the young players.

Freeman, an avid and "long suffering" baseball fan, with a life-long allegiance to the Chicago Cubs, is a photography professor at the School of Art and Design at Alfred University.
