Unseenamerica
In the Market Arcade Atrium: CEPA presenst a Public Art Banner Project produced by the 1199 Bread and Roses Cultural Project.  Bread and Roses is the not-for-profit art and cultural arm of 1199, Service Employee’s International Union, New York State’s Health and Human Service Union.  Bread and Roses’ founding principle is that working people and their children can better understand and participate in their communities, in their workplaces, in their schools, and in the broader culture by examining themselves and their world through the arts.

Unseenamerica is comprised of 16 8-foot banners that will be suspended form the third floor of the Market Arcade’s Atrium.  Each banner contains 2 images taken by Western New York healthcare workers who participated in a photography workshop taught by CEPA’s education director, Lauren Tent.
