JOURNEY'S END

CEPA and Journey’s End will be collaborating for the 4th consecutive year in 2013. Buffalo Through Their Eyes, brings CEPA and Journey’s End together to work with refugee families on documenting their transition to a new life in Buffalo. CEPA works with families throughout the summer and fall, teaching the elements of photography and assigning relevant assignments that encourage participants to photograph family, community and neighborhoods. Participants are from different parts of the world and although they may know little English, they are able to communicate and share their lives through photography. Last year and this year, the final exhibit will be held at CEPA Gallery with a celebration, acknowledging the photographers as they share their experience of Buffalo, through their eyes.
