Statement:

Russell’s Tree

Through the lens of the manual Russian camera LOMO, Linda Gale has been documenting the frozen waters of Western New York. This six-year study began during the height of El Nino and continues today. Even though the waters frozen effects have diminished, this particular winter night scene is still common to those who choose to live amongst the chill. This never before seen piece is a personal favorite of the artist and hopes its meditative qualities go to a good home.
