Diane Bertolo

FT2K is a representation of a memory of a simulation. It is a virtual memory palace inhabited by ghosts, gunslingers, tourists and cyborgs. It is a mapping of memory onto an errant operating system, and will be installed in a site-specific, interactive space in CEPA gallery. Material souvenirs will be given to viewers as a physical representation of the art.

Diane Bertolo is an artist who most often works in digital media. Her projects, including the CD ROM “Probing into Science”, have been included in numerous national and international media festivals. She has received fellowships and awards from: NYFA (Emerging Forms for Digital Art), The Jerome Foundation, and the NEA.
