Free Trade Free Fall Free Do(o)m
in the Market Arcade atrium (Held over from Part II of the UNCOMMON TRAITS Exhibition)

As the world moves into a global economy, Free Trade policies shape its future. My concerns surround the lack of information and discussion by the general public on Free Trade, an issue which will forever change the roles of nations, corporations, and labor, and directly effect individual lives around the world.

FREE TRADE FREE FALL FREE DO(O)M - j.chang made in the U.S.A. adapts the format of a large advertisement banner. The banner ties together the issues of trade, fall and freedom, and places the artist in the commercial industry, identifying her as a manufacturer, and emphasizing the country where she produces rather than her assumed culture.
