Split Decision was produced in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, and funded by major gifts from the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation and Steven Johnson and Walter Sudol, encompasses the two exhibits. The publication explores Schneemann's career from different historical and political perspectives to expand critical awareness of her work. The 95 page, full color catalog documents a wide range of works and includes essays by leading art scholar Thomas McEvilley, Canadian art critic Jim Drobnick, Buffalo-based media artist Caroline Koebel. |
